Jeremie’s aim is to champion emerging artists and provide them with a platform to show-off their work. The brief was short and open-ended: design something weird but reliable.
In response, I created a typeface that is a motley crew of playful characters designed around rigid geometrical forms, putting emphasis on the serious intentions of the enterprise.
In line with the diverse and eclectic nature of the association, the typeface is an intersection of different ideas, cultures and alphabets, drawing its inspiration from Cyrillic and Tamil script, Greek alphabet as well as Danish and Swedish diacritics.
